Description of the Project

"Youth Startup Journey" is a 10-day Erasmus+ training course for youth workers, hosted in Kaunas, Lithuania, from December 4-14, 2025. The project addresses the critical issue of youth unemployment across Europe by empowering youth workers with career counseling tools, knowledge, and practical skills. The program includes diverse non-formal learning activities such as simulations, role-plays, debates, university visits, and workshops, aiming to foster professional development and increase employability among young people, especially NEET youth (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).

The project utilizes non-formal and experiential learning methodologies to strengthen the participantsโ€™ career counseling competencies. Through hands-on activities, expert sessions, and peer learning, youth workers will gain tools to guide young people in crafting CVs, mapping career paths, and setting professional goals. The long-term value lies in the creation of support networks, development of local career events, and a comprehensive booklet for youth organizations on becoming effective career counselors, ensuring a lasting impact beyond the training itself.

Target Group - This training course is particularly suitable for experienced youth workers and leaders aged 18 and above - no previous participated in Erasmus+ projects required or being actively engaged in youth-related initiatives at local, national, or international levels. Participants should be motivated to support young people in career development and willing to apply and share the acquired knowledge in their communities. The program also prioritizes inclusion, with a significant number of participants coming from fewer opportunity backgrounds.

Participants profile - Youth workers, teachers, youth leaders, activists active in their organization and community. Non alcohol drinkers, we will not use alcohol in this project to have better results for each of us. If you can not live without it, please do not apply for this training course.

Age limit: Over 18
