The Living Floodplains Dashboard is designed to make complex ecological topics accessible and fun. Toolbox Resources include:

Gamified Illustration: Users are greeted by a gamified interactive illustration for each topic, serving as an engaging and immediate entry point into the curriculum;

Teaching Materials: Educators can easily access and download the Restore4Life 5E (Engage–Explore–Explain–Elaborate–Evaluate) teaching materials—protocols and worksheets for both indoor and field activities that help students understand how wetland ecosystems function and why their restoration is vital for biodiversity, climate resilience, and human well-being. All materials link directly to Zenodo for reliable, long-term access.

Curated Repository: The Dashboard grants access to the Wetland Education Repository, a curated collection of related educational activities and best practices from across Europe;

Complementary Tools: Links are provided to other integral Restore4Life tools, including:

Wetland Fresk game: a collaborative, interactive workshop designed to help participants explore how human activities impact wetland ecosystems (including tidal flats, salt marshes, lagoons, etc.), the consequences of those impacts, and the potential solutions.

Wetland4Life citizen science app: helps to make wetland mapping accessible to everyone. It offers simple, practical ways to assess wetland condition and identify restoration opportunities.

Blue-Green Space4All online game: a playful computer game where you travel with Otis the Otter along the river. Along the way, you will encounter biological, physical, chemical, and social challenges. Answer questions, choose solutions, and improve the river step by step — while collecting as many coins as possible.
