The European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) has a new home: citizenscience.eu

To better connect and grow the citizen science community across Europe, ECSA is excited to announce the new domain of our platform: from eu-citizen.science to citizenscience.eu. This change reflects a broader shift already embraced by a growing movement of several national citizen science networks. While both domains are still active for now, ECSA will, in the future, redirect to citizenscience.eu, an online platform for sharing knowledge, tools, training and resources for citizen science – by the community, for the community.

The vision for the platform is to serve as a Knowledge Hub, in aid of the mainstreaming of citizen science, and build on the growing impact of citizens participating in research across the full range of scientific enquiry. Existing and emerging national networks are encouraged to join ECSA by adopting the structure with country-specific versions like citizenscience.it and citizenscience.nl —to build a stronger, more visible, and united citizen science landscape across Europe.
