The Co-create NEB Open Call 2027 supports initiatives that enhance communities’ quality of life and neighborhood environments across Europe. It operates through two complementary programs targeting community activation and public space transformation. Projects must align with the New European Bauhaus values of sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion.
TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: Community-led participatory projects, living labs, co-design processes, experimental prototyping, and place-based interventions improving neighbourhood public spaces, including research or methodologies supporting built environment improvements.
SECTORS / DOMAIN: Urban development, public space, mobility, food systems, climate resilience, circular economy, and community engagement.
INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: it is required a consortium of 2 to 4 entities including at least one city, region, or affiliated entity with a city or region.
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be legal entities established in EU Member States or Horizon Europe associated countries.
SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES: Projects must address New European Bauhaus values and may focus on defined thematic areas (Urban Mobility, Food, Climate), though additional relevant topics may be considered.
PROJECTS DURATION: Maximum 10 months.
BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
Funding rate: fixed 85% rate.
Budget conditions / limitations: fixed EUR 49,300 lump sum with a fixed total co-funding of EUR 8,700 (total budget EUR 58,000).
Payments: 50% pre-financing upon contract signature and 50% after approval of deliverables and KPIs.
