Did you know that three EU4Ocean Thematic Networking Groups were launched in the past months? Learn about their objectives and their work here: https://maritime-forum.ec.europa.eu/theme/ocean-literacy-and-blue-skills/ocean-literacy/eu4ocean-platform_en#thematic-networking-groups. The objectives of these groups are to connect the dots, enhance networking between EU4Ocean Coalition members, strengthen cooperation and develop new initiatives. Six themes are addressed:
‘Let’s bring the ocean into libraries and book fairs across Europe’
‘Let's work together on citizen science and education!'
‘Let’s connect to the ocean through art!’
'Let's strengthen blue skills for a sustainable blue economy!
An invitation has been issued to all to unite and collectively build momentum for European ocean literacy, encouraging other initiatives to join the movement. By joining an active group of organizations, initiatives and people, members of the EU4Ocean Platform benefit from sharing of ideas, build partnerships and join forces to deliver a more coordinated approach to ocean literary activities in Europe. At the core of the platform is the exchange of expertise, knowledge and best practices in ocean literacy. Members create synergies and new collective initiatives that can reach broader audiences thereby generating larger impact.
