How can we better support experiential, place-based learning and meaningful student participation in environmental education?
Join us on 6 May (10:00-11:30 CET) for a webinar on “Barriers and Enablers to Children’s Participation and Experiential, Place-Based Learning in Marine Educational Areas.” 🌍
This session will present insights from research conducted across mainland France and overseas territories, exploring how students engage with Marine Educational Areas (EMAs) through hands-on experiences, local knowledge, and active involvement in decision-making.
The webinar will highlight key barriers and enablers to participation, as well as reflections on participatory research and perspectives for teacher training.
