Looking for talented kids, 11-18

🌍 young people from throughout the world are stepping into their power through Bow Seat’s Ocean Awareness Contest.

🎶🖌️ What began as a regional initiative in 2011 is now a global platform for youth-led climate action, connecting art, advocacy and ocean literacy. This is an international contest open to middle and high school students ages 11-18 to students who have not yet entered post-secondary education. Students may submit one entry per category, meaning that you may enter up to seven pieces, one in each category. If you submit more than one entry in a category (for example, two poems), additional entries will not be counted or judged.

Bow Seat is an organization that encourages students to dive into the creative process by using art as a tool for research, discovery, and empowerment. Because of this, they want to ensure that students who embrace this process are rewarded, learn from it, and channel their genuine commitment to protecting our blue planet. For this reason, AI-generated work is not permitted in the Ocean Awareness Contest.
