During the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (June 2025), students representing thousands of young voices worldwide — including those from two NEBS members, the International School of Nice (France) and Escola Básica e Secundária de Santa Maria (Portugal) — presented an open letter supporting the 30x30 global target to Ambassador Peter Thomson, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for the Ocean.

Congratulations to all involved!
