Online ocean-literacy and marine-biodiversity educational experience created by WWF France for children, teachers, schools, and families in English: https://www.wwf.fr/gardiens-de-la-mediterranee/escape-game-en

The experience is designed as a short immersive digital escape game, approximately 20 minutes long, set aboard WWF’s “Blue Panda” ambassador vessel. The storyline revolves around solving the mystery of a “red tide” while learning about marine biodiversity, ecosystem balance, pollution, invasive species, cetaceans, Posidonia seagrass, and Mediterranean conservation challenges. Educationally, it combines storytelling, quizzes, puzzles, marine science lessons, and environmental awareness through gamified learning. Includes classroom teaching kits, species cards, videos, podcasts, teacher resources, biodiversity activities, and marine-literacy workshops to demonstrates how scientific content, marine conservation, storytelling, and digital engagement can be combined into a highly accessible educational format for younger audiences. It is very much aligned with UNESCO Ocean Literacy principles, experiential learning, citizen engagement, and environmental behavior-change methodologies.
